Hello. My name is Stephen Noble, and I try to focus on the visuals.
It started during a masters in news journalism, where I was the one who’d take the photos for the other students’ articles.
I used photography as a way to approach video when myself and a few friends founded a publishing company covering the arts and culture of my home, the north east of England.
We we were online, with a video focus, and in print, with a monthly audience of around 7,000.
After wanting to focus more on creating the aesthetic of a film, I left as managing director and went freelance under the moniker a different ilk.
I moved to London in 2014 to focus on being a director of photography, but one who is able to produce and edit the final product.
